Kathy Angus - Dental Assistant, Dental Equipment Technician, Inventory & Supply Manager
Kathy has been a dental assistant since 1980 when she graduated from Central Jersey Dental Assisting School. She became certified as a registered dental assistant in 1981 and also received her xray license. Kathy has a sensitive, caring chairside manner that our patients appreciate and a sense of humor that people have grown to love over her 30 years working in this practice.
Kathy is a very active committee member of the Eatontown Boy Scouts where she has organized several events for the past 18 years. She is married with two grown boys and currently lives in Eatontown.
When she isn’t working with patients, Kathy enjoys spending time with her family and her pets. She also likes cooking and baking, painting and crafts, crabbing in the summer and cruising around on her Harley (well, not really a Harley - but a motorcycle nonetheless).
Jo Ann Scollo – Registered Dental Hygienist
Jo Ann is a dental hygienist with over 30 years experience and we have been fortunate to have her as part of our team since 2011. She is kind and caring and makes patients feel very comfortable while having their dental work done.
Jo Ann is married and has three sons. She enjoys spending time with her family, digital photography, Italian cooking, sewing and upholstering. She makes variety of home furnishings and creative tote bags (for sale) and stays active with kick boxing! Who would have known?
And don't be surprised if you see her someday on stage singing some of your favorite songs - karaoke style!
Nicole Orrico – Registered Dental Hygienist
Nicole earned her degree and was awarded the prestigious 'Golden Scaler" for excellence in dental hygiene! She enjoys educating patients on how to prevent dental disease so that they can enjoy a strong, healthy smile throughout life. As your hygienist, Nicole will encourage you to actively work toward optimal oral health, and she always gives praise when praise is due!
Nicole has been working here since 2019 and is often praised for her thoroughness and gentle touch.
Nicole grew up right here in Little Silver and currently resides in Colts Neck with her husband and two children. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and relaxing by the pool or beach in the summertime.
Lisa Strivelli – Dental Receptionist and Financial Coordinator
Lisa became a member of our team in 2023. She has worked in dentistry for many years and she finds the career immensely rewarding because she loves helping people. Working in dentistry allows her the opportunity to promote optimal health, wellness, and self-confidence - life-changing and life-enhancing qualities.
As the Financial Coordinator, Lisa is an expert in maximizing your dental insurance plan benefits. She will make every effort to help make your dental treatment affordable and within your budget. Lisa has many financing options available and will find the right one that works for you.
Lisa lives in Ocean with her husband and a frisky Jack Russell terrier. She is a foodie and has a passion for beading in her spare time.
Julia Bongarzone – Registered Dental Hygienist
Julia has been working in the dental field for many years as a hygienist. Her warm and welcoming personality will put even the most anxious patients at ease. Julia works part time at Little Silver Dental Care so if you enjoy your visit with her - make sure to set up your future visit because her schedule fills up fast.
Julia enjoys surfing the Jersey shore in her free time. For her, surfing's not a sport, it's a way of life. It's a way of looking at that wave and saying, "Hey bud, let's party!"
Debbie Peterson – Warrior Princess of Health and Dental Financial Manager
Debbie earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and her Master's degree in Creative Writing and then went back to school to study nutrition at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York. Debbie enjoys a career as a health and nutrition coach, educating people on how to live a strong, healthy, long life.
At Little Silver Dental Care, she takes on the role of financial manager in addition to her many other jobs as full time mom.
Debbie spends her free time. . .uh, well, there really isn't any. . . but when there is she likes to play tennis, read, excercise, knit and spend quality time with her family.
